In the Port of Amsterdam, Koole is located at the town of Zaandam. This is where Koole’s terminal business was founded, close to the food industry and the North Sea Canal. From here, both the North Sea and the Dutch road network are within easy reach. The location has five car loading stations and the port has a quay length of up to 245 metres.
The industrial workshop and the maritime engineering department are located at the site. There is a storage facility for oils and fats, consisting of approximately 100 storage tanks, ranging in size from 60 cubic metres to 1400 cubic metres, in addition to weighing installations and fixed pipelines.
